My name is Alison Bounce
I’m an underwater photographer and filmmaker artist based in France. For over a decade, I’ve been creating immersive photo and video sessions beneath the surface, where the body becomes light, and stories rise in silence. What began as a deep fear of water became my greatest source of inspiration. I didn’t grow up dreaming of diving. In fact, I was terrified of it. But over time, I faced that fear and turned it into art. Today, I use that journey to guide others through emotional, poetic experiences underwater with empathy, strength, and softness.

Being a Mother has changed everything about the way I see under the surface
Since becoming a mother to my little boy, Arthur, something profound shifted in me as a woman, as a human, and as an underwater photographer. Motherhood didn’t just change my life it deepened my way of seeing. When I photograph now, I feel more. I slow down. I understand what it means to hold both tenderness and power at the same time. Each image I create carries more intention, softness, and truth — because I know how fleeting and sacred these moments are.
